 Selecting a perfume is a very personal decision. Your fragrance should fit your personality, your lifestyle and your body chemistry. There are many different perfume brands to choose form from Issey Miyake to Dolce and Gabbana. Each one has its own personality and characteristics. How to Apply Your Perfume

Women's perfume should be applied lightly about twenty minutes before leaving the house. If you can get a pure perfume  ( Eau de parfum) instead of the Eau de toilette, definitely do so. It is more expensive but you use so much less per application that it is worth it.

Eau de parfum has far less alcohol in it so you only need the tiniest bit. Apply it to the pulse points on your neck, a drop to the wrists, a drop behind your knees and a drop between your cleavage.

If you are using an Eau de toilette, unscrew the top and use the plastic applicator to apply the perfume as directed above. You end up wasting too much of the perfume when you spray it on and it is too easy to over apply.

The key is subtly when applying women's perfume. You want that barely there scent that makes men wonder is it you or your perfume. It should tantalize the senses, almost imperceptibly and yet linger on the memory.
